Our ever-considerate neighbors upstairs at the apartment decided that 7:20 Saturday morning is the perfect time to vacuum, drag furniture around, and turn up the stereo to hear over the vacuum cleaner.
Knowing I would have a stroke if I didn't say anything, I went outside and had to scream twice for her to hear me over the stereo blaring off the deck (did I mention she leaves it on while inside, doing whatever it is she's doing?). I explained that my husband was trying to sleep (which he was, but gave up). She apologized and turned off the stereo. Ever since then, except for some frantic walking around and going in and out of the deck with the sliding glass doors, we haven't heard anything else from her this morning.
Perhaps self-awareness for her is a slowly creeping concept?
More motivation to get that house done!
